Background
Cart & Garden started out in Upstate New York, and has spread out to serve the entire continental United States. Every branch serves local farms and soup kitchens. We try to establish a welcoming presence in communities that need a connection between people in need and nutritious produce.
Produce
We offer a wide variety of local produce from farms, supermarkets and gardens. We usually have a few green leafy vegetables in stock, as well as fresh fruit, legumes and root vegetables. What we carry is seasonal, and is subject to change.
People We Serve
Primarily, we serve people who live in areas without a reliable and affordable source of produce. We also serve those who cannot afford the produce available within their communities.
We connect farms and supermarkets who donate produce with charities, soup kitchens and churches who distribute it to people in need.
